Aesthetics and Beauty Therapy ( 1 Year, Certificate) The one-year courses offered are registered with the ministry of education and culture but not yet accredited. Purposes - Targets of the programme This programme aims to give the students a quality and high level education and training in beauty therapy, with a variety of theoretical and practical subjects: Targets of the programme: a) to equip the students with a good theoretical knowledge and practical skills of high quality standard. b) to enable students to obtain basic knowledge on techniques and methods with daily practical training and to gain experience and practice by offering beauty therapy services to various models, during their studies, under the guidance and supervision of the training/ teacher. c) enable the graduates to offer various high quality services in beauty therapy enabling them to pursue a successful professional career. Career prospects The graduates of the programme acquire a good knowledge and practical skills and they are capable to successfully organise a beauty salon, to work in beauty and health centres, hotels, Spa, gyms and with companies promoting cosmetic products and/or have cooperation with hairdressing salons and other relevant professions.
