Courses of Study The programmes* theoretical and practical, have been designed in accordance to the European standards. The analytical programmes are suitably designed and structured and the equipment and educational means used for training ensure high level of education and quality training. The college maintains contacts with European educational institutes and professional bodies that contribute to the continuous upgrading and enhancing of the beauty therapy programmes offered by the college. The dynamic follow up and response to any developments occurring in the field of beauty therapy ensures quality and reliability of the courses offered meeting the market demand. Aesthetics and Beauty Therapy (2 Years, Diploma) The State Authority of Cyprus, the Council of Educational Evaluation-Accreditation and the Ministry of Education and Culture of Cyprus have accredited the two-year diploma courses of Susini College, in Limassol and in Nicosia., (ref: MEC PITE 38/2È, 14 January 2000). Purposes - Targets of the programme The programme aims to give to the students a quality and higher-level education and training in beauty therapy with a good variety of theoretical subjects and practical training. Targets of the programme: a) to equip the students with an excellent theoretical knowledge and practical skills of high quality. b) to enable students to enhance their knowledge, techniques and methods with daily practical training and to gain experience and practice by offering beauty therapy services to various models, during their studies, under the guidance and supervision of the teacher / trainer. c) enable the graduates to offer a range of high quality services in beauty therapy enabling them to pursue a successful professional career. of the programme
* The college reserves the right to effect changes in the courses and/or the titles of studies offered without notice, after approval by the Ministry of Education and Culture. ** The subject is theoretical and practical. Career prospects The graduates of the programme acquire very good knowledge and practical skills and they are capable to organise and successfully manage a beauty salon, to work in beauty and health centres, hotels, Spa centres, gyms and with companies promoting cosmetic products and/or have cooperation with hairdressing salons and other relevant professions. They can also work as make up artists in the television and the theatre.
