Academic Counseling

The progress and development of the students is continuously monitored by the teaching and training personnel and is supervised by the management of the College.

Counselling and academic mentoring is offered, in order to properly support and guide students, including students with fewer opportunities, with a view to successfully meet their course requirements and workload, thus contributing to a smooth running of the program and to the improvement of the quality of studies. Specifically academic mentoring provides:

* Information and counseling to students on academic issues

• Advice and help for the resolution of problems encountered by students

• Promotion of good relations between students, academic and administrative staff

• Development of spirit of cooperation and an environment that promotes learning in line with the academic philosophy of the College

Depending on students' special needs particular care is provided by the teaching staff such as: support to students with learning difficulties, encouragement and support, supplementary explanations, study guidance during their examinations etc. 

The teacher-mentor process works productively, and in particular in the cases of supervision on assignments and work prepared by the students during the course of their studies. Also, mentoring is provided on any other academic issues may concern the students and they need guidance or assistance. Tutorials are also provided by the teaching personnel, offering explanations and guidance to students.

The aim is to help students successfully progress with their studies, to strangthen and continuously improve the quality of the studies, and to ensure smooth running of the education programmes.
