Aesthetics and Beauty Therapy

The two-year Programme of study offered are accredited by the Cyprus Agency of Quality Assurance and Accreditation in Higher Education (CYQAA) and are registered with the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth of Cyprus.
Purposes – Targets of the programme
The programme aims to give to the students a quality and high-level education and training in beauty therapy with a good variety of theoretical subjects and practical training.
Targets of the programme:
- Τo equip the students with an excellent theoretical knowledge and practical skills of high quality.
- Τo enable students to enhance their knowledge, techniques and methods with daily practical training and to gain experience and practice by offering beauty therapy services to various models, during their studies, under the guidance and supervision of the training/ teacher.
- Εnable the graduates to offer a range of high quality services in beauty therapy enabling them to pursue a successful professional career as Assistant Beauticians.
Duration of the programme
The duration of the programme is two academic years of four semesters.

The graduate of the programme can work as an Assistant Beautician: As an employee of a registered beauty therapist. In enterprises promoting cosmetic products and offering consultation for their use. Self employed providing manicure, pedicure, make up and facial care services. Use of beauty therapy equipment (that has been trained for) under the suprvision of a Beauty Therapist.
